Released in 1993 and produced by Tim Burton, Disney's "The Nightmare Before Christmas" became an instant cult favorite. With its skewered and Gothic (but musical!) telling of the story of Jack Skellington, the pumpkin king of Halloween town, Disney and writer/producer Burton created a classic of stop-motion animation.
