    Made of ceramic. Comes in excellent condition - however the left ear has been chipped and repaired with black paint. (See photo). The black speck on the chest is underneath the glaze, so it was manufactured that way. Other than that, it has no chips, cracks or breaks; it does have with the natural crazing that comes with age. Made in 1956.
