  This piece was made in 1946. It is made of ceramic, and is in excellent condition - however there are two small chips (1/16th of an inch each) on the under side of the Pinocchio's hat. (see photo) It is not at all visible from the front when displayed. There is also another smaller chip on the back of his hat. This item has the natural crazing that comes with age.
